Welcome to My Blog. I’m Samantha Franklin, The Author.
Nice to meet you.
I really don’t like talking about myself, because I always find that other people are far more interesting to learn about, but I figure that it’s a good idea for you, as my reader, to understand who I am and what I believe. That might help you to better understand the purpose of my blog and the things that drive me to post here.
What is my Blog, Frankly Making Money, About?
My blog is dedicated to teaching you the various principles, concepts and best practices for Internet marketing and search engine optimization. I’m not going to charge you a dime, and I won’t ever require you to do silly things like signing up for a mailing list just to read what I’ve written.
My goal is to allow you to learn about everything that should be free while guiding you towards the right products that will help you learn without being a waste of your time or your money.
Who is Samantha Franklin?
Who am I? That’s a good question!
At the time of writing, I’m 23 years old. I’m single, and I work from home doing various Internet-based activities. I love to read science fiction, as my favorite author is Philip K. Dick. I own my own home that’s located in a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
I spend a large amount of my time volunteering to help the local animal shelter and to help my aging mother whom has been diagnosed with terminal congestive heart failure. I love helping others, as I find that’s the best way to give back for all the things that I’ve been rewarded with already.
I even babysit occasionally for my next-door neighbor. I don’t ask for any money, as I love kids.
What Have I Done?
I have a large amount of experience when it comes to digital marketing.
I started out in this profession in 2011. I was a third-year college student who was struggling to pay my rent with the two part-time jobs I had while going to school at the time. I took up Internet marketing after discovering that you could earn money through Google AdSense.
I’m not going to lie, the money I made was tiny. It was also just enough to get by.
I decided to take a risk and to fully invest myself into Internet marketing. It took a while, but I eventually found some measure of success with Facebook. I had several Fan Pages that had accumulated a total of 3.6 million Fans, which meant quite a lot of profits per day.
I expanded my horizons even further after that. I learned how to code websites and several of the basic elements of design to further my projects.
After a long string of success, I eventually found myself doing what I loved and living off it. Internet marketing is exciting, after all!
To summarize, here’s what I’ve done as it pertains to Internet marketing:
- Affiliate Marketing
- Facebook Marketing
- Google AdSense
- Pay-Per-Click Advertising
- Twitter Marketing
- White Hat Search Engine Optimization
- Web Design and Development
